POINTS

Riders will be able to enter multiple times on different horses in the Elementary, Middle, High School, and Open division but the highest point recorded will be kept. 

Example: Susie enters the Middle school barrels on 2 horses.  She placed 1st on Skip winning $150 and 3rd on Bucky winning $80.  Susie will keep all money won but only receive points for her 1st place run on Skip.  The points won on Bucky will not go to the next person but instead disregarded.

Point System:

1st place – 6 points

2nd place – 5 points

3rd place – 4 points

4th place- 3 points

5th place- 2 points

6th place- 1 point

$35 awards fee must be paid before you ride for points to be counted.  You can ride without paying but you will be exempt from all awards.

A Saddle will be awarded to open High Point. Buckles Will be awarded for High Point winner of each age group and the winner of each event.  Each participant is only eligible to win one buckle per age group. The buckles will be awarded in this order; High point, barrels, poles, goats, arena race, and Texas barrels. The Buckle will drop to the next person in line for a buckle that hasn’t already received one if the winner of that an event already has a won a buckle in the age group.

 In the case of a tie, the contestant that ran the fastest time at show #6 in that event will win the buckle.

Example: In the goat tying Susie and Terra are tied for the series high point. Terra ties a 12.7 and Susie ties a 18.9.  Terra will win the goat tying buckle.
